Fannie Mae does not directly sell homes, it only sells homes through real estate brokers.  Fannie Mae lists its homes on a website called Homepath.com. That site is easily searchable.by state, town zip code, price, number of bedrooms or baths. If you find a home you can call your buyer's agent to set up showings and help you with the purchase. There are several government documents and addendums to fill out. Fannie Mae property are available to owner occupants on a "first look" basis for a period of 15 days before investors can purchase them. Owner occupants are buyers who certify that they will move into the home as their principle residence within 60 days from the day of settlement and remain in the home for at least one year.
